SpaceX is exploring a simplified mission design for NASA’s Artemis III lunar touchdown, which goals to hold astronauts close to the Moon’s south pole. The objective is to return crew to the Moon quicker and extra safely. This comes as NASA Performing Administrator Sean Duffy reopened the Artemis III lander contract as a result of schedule delays. In a latest replace, SpaceX stated it’s “formally assessing a simplified mission structure” to attain a faster return to the Moon.
