Balfour Beatty secures £833 million contract for world’s first gas-fired energy station
Balfour Beatty shares rose 2.7% after the corporate stated it gained a £833 million contract to assist construct the world’s first gas-fired energy station for Web Zero Teeside Energy, a three way partnership between BP and Equinor.
The British development agency stated that the finished energy station is anticipated to supply sufficient low-carbon energy for multiple million common U.Okay. properties.

EQT to promote Japanese automobile elements supplier to CarUX for $1.1 billion
EQT has sealed a $1.1 billion deal to promote Japanese automobile elements maker Pioneer to CarUX, an autos tech producer and subsidiary of Taiwan’s Innolux Corporation.
Pioneer is a provider of in-car sound gadgets and produces audio tools for carmakers. EQT first invested in Pioneer in 2019.
The deal comes amid a string of funding exits for EQT up to now two weeks, together with a floating of Nordic specialist mortgage supplier Enity on the Nordic inventory change.

Shell says it has not been ‘actively contemplating’ BP bid
