Sudan faces world's worst displacement disaster as nation enters third 12 months of struggle

Sudan on Tuesday marked two years of a struggle that has killed tens of hundreds, displaced 13 million and triggered the world’s worst humanitarian disaster. In the meantime violence continues and clashes erupted within the metropolis  El-Fasher. At the very least 57 civilians have been killed in simply at some point. Jens Laerke, deputy spokesperson the UN Workplace for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs gave us the most recent on the humanitarian state of affairs.
