Claimed by the Islamic State (IS) group, the coordinated strikes carried out by gunmen and suicide bombers focused the Stade de France stadium in a northern Paris suburb, a number of terraces within the metropolis centre and the Bataclan live performance corridor within the eleventh arrondissement.
