Syria’s interim president has condemned Israel for “wide-scale concentrating on of civilian and authorities amenities” after the Israeli army struck Damascus on Wednesday because it sought to intervene in clashes between the Syrian military and Druze fighters.
Israel’s strikes would have pushed “issues to a large-scale escalation, aside from the efficient intervention of American, Arab, and Turkish mediation, which saved the area from an unknown destiny”, Ahmed al-Sharaa stated in his first televised assertion for the reason that assaults.
