When wages have stalled for almost 20 years and I lately got here head to head with a tube of toothpaste that was almost £7 in my native Sainsbury’s, the concept cash can’t purchase happiness appears nearly offensive. It finally comes from a blinkered idea of what cash can do. Positive, if you happen to solely use your cash to purchase issues, the happiness it offers will probably be shallow and fleeting.
