If somebody illegally double parks in a one-way road and a cop walks by, the expectation is that they’d get fined. Equally, you’d assume that if an organization that makes use of animals is caught mistreating them, they too would face some form of authorized repercussion. However for a lot of companies within the US, that’s not what’s taking place.
