In November, studies circulated that the IOC is contemplating broader transgender eligibility requirements that would bar biological male athletes from competing in girls's sports activities. Although the IOC has but to announce a proper coverage, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) updated its policies in July to coincide with President Donald Trump's "Preserving Males Out of Ladies's Sports activities" government order.
