Trump admin fires EPA staff over letter of dissent

The Trump administration notified eight staff of their termination on Friday following their determination to signal a letter dissenting from present insurance policies on the Environmental Safety Company (EPA), the Related Press experiences.

The American Federation of Authorities Staff (AFGE), a labor union for federal staff, mentioned the EPA firings have been unlawful.

“The Trump administration and EPA’s retaliatory actions towards these staff was clearly an assault on labor and free speech rights,” Justin Chen, president of AFGE Council 238, mentioned in an announcement to the Put up.

“It's clear that the actions taken by administration have been baseless and meant to punish any modicum of dissent figuring out potential hurt to the American Public and violation of the Company’s mission.”

One other AFGE president mentioned the transfer was meant to intimidate fellow staff from talking out towards the present administration and company heads.
