Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, have delivered an ultimatum to Hamas, warning the militant group to just accept their 20-point peace plan for Gaza or face the results.
The 2 leaders met on the White Home in Washington on Monday then held a joint press briefing through which they hailed their proposal as a historic breakthrough and new chapter for the Center East.
However it was clear that Hamas had not been consulted and its place on the phrases remained unsure. Mahmoud Mardawi, a Hamas official, stated the group had not even obtained the plan on the time of the announcement, the Reuters information company reported. It was later briefed that Qatari and Egyptian mediators met with Hamas on Monday night to supply the group with the peace plan.
