President Donald Trump stated Thursday that he’s nominating nationwide safety adviser Mike Waltz as United Nations ambassador whereas Secretary of State Marco Rubio would take over Waltz’s duties on an interim function. Waltz has been below scrutiny for weeks after reporting from The Atlantic that he had mistakenly added the journal’s editor-in-chief to a Sign chat getting used to debate army plans.
