Police arrested greater than 50 folks in Istanbul on Sunday forward of a banned LGBTQ+ Pride march, the town’s bar affiliation stated.
“Earlier than at present’s Istanbul Delight march, 4 of our colleagues, together with members of our Human Rights Centre, together with greater than 50 folks, had been disadvantaged of their liberty by means of arbitrary, unjust, and unlawful detention,” the Istanbul Bar’s Human Rights Centre posted on X.
