Fourteen nations, together with Britain, Canada and Germany, have condemned the Israeli safety cupboard’s approval of 19 new settlements within the occupied West Bank, saying they violate worldwide regulation and threat fuelling instability.
Israel approved a proposal last Sunday for the new Jewish settlements, which brings the current complete to 69, in response to the far-right finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich.
