President Donald Trump claimed on social media that the U.S. had efficiently performed large-scale strikes in Venezuela, capturing President Nicolás Maduro and his spouse, who had been reportedly flown in a foreign country. Earlier, Maduro accused the U.S. of inflicting a sequence of explosions in Caracas and different areas and declared a state of emergency. Round 2 a.m. native time, explosions and the sound of plane had been reported over the capital, with smoke rising from a navy base hangar and elements of town shedding energy.
