A United States submarine has sunk an Iranian warship with a torpedo in worldwide waters off Sri Lanka’s coast, says US Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth.
In a Pentagon briefing on Wednesday, Hegseth stated the strike on the Iranian warship was the “first such assault on an enemy since World Conflict II”.
