At the very least 14 journalists and media staff, together with 13 members of worldwide media organisations, had been detained in Caracas on Monday, in line with the union representing Venezuelan reporters.
13 of these detained had been later launched, one among whom was deported. One journalist remained within the custody of intelligence providers, the Nationwide Union of Press Employees (SNTP) mentioned in a submit on X. Impartial reporting inside Venezuela is severely restricted and authorities have declined visas for overseas journalists to enter the nation.
