West Virginia has filed a lawsuit towards Apple, accusing the corporate of permitting the distribution and storage of kid sexual abuse materials (CSAM) in iCloud. In a lawsuit filed on Thursday, West Virginia Legal professional Common JB McCuskey claims that by abandoning a CSAM detection system in favor of end-to-end encryption, iCloud has grow to be a “safe frictionless avenue for the possession, safety, and distribution [of] CSAM,” violating the state’s shopper safety legal guidelines.
