The true significance of the long-awaited entry of Yemen’s Houthis into the Iran battle is determined by whether or not the Tehran-backed proxy group is aspiring to ship a couple of missiles and drones from a distance in the direction of Israel or will as a substitute capitalise on its proximity to the slim Bab al-Mandab strait to successfully shut off the Purple Sea to transport, simply as Iran has in impact shut the strait of Hormuz.
