U.S. and South Korea have made progress on their fraught commerce deal. On the ultimate leg of President Donald Trump’s tour of Asia, he met together with his South Korean counterpart Lee Jae Myung. No settlement has formally been signed however Trump lauded the day as a “large success” and stated issues have been “just about finalised” whereas Seoul officers revealed a framework that features gradual investments and cooperation on shipbuilding in addition to diminished tariffs on South Korea’s auto trade.
