President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order on Friday renaming the Division of Protection the “Division of Warfare.” The transfer by itself has no authorized energy; formally altering the identify would require approval by Congress, although the White Home is reportedly looking for ways around that. Altering the signage and branding for the federal government’s largest division, with amenities and bases all over the world, would even be extraordinarily costly. As Reuters notes, the Biden administration’s now-scuttled plan to rename simply 9 Military bases that honor Accomplice leaders was set to value round $39 million.
