THAILAND AND Cambodia have largely stored heavy weapons out of their long-simmering border disputes. So the sudden violence on the morning of July twenty fourth got here as a shock. Cambodian artillery shelled a Thai navy base; Thai F-16 fighter jets launched sorties into Cambodia. Thai authorities say that a minimum of 11 Thai civilians have been killed.
