A number of states throughout the U.S. have been issued winter storm warnings, which forecast that as much as 20 inches of snow may blast sure areas, from Wednesday by way of Thursday and Friday, and in some areas, even into Saturday, sparking elevated “avalanche hazard” warnings, in keeping with the Nationwide Climate Service (NWS).
