Introduction: Inventory markets fall as Trump renews tariff threats
It seems to be like it will likely be a rocky begin to the week for traders after Donald Trump threatened eight European nations with new tariffs till they assist his ambition to accumulate Greenland.
The US president is planning to impose new commerce levies of 10% on items from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Finland from 1 February, rising to 25% on 1 June.
