X is going through an investigation from the European Fee over the sexualized deepfakes generated by its Grok AI chatbot. In its announcement, the Fee says it’ll consider whether or not X “correctly assessed and mitigated dangers” related to Grok’s image-generating capabilities within the EU, as reported earlier by The New York Instances.
