Zelensky visits troops as Ukraine claims gained floor close to key metropolis

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated Friday he had visited troops heading off Russian advances close to the embattled metropolis of Kupiansk that Moscow claimed to have captured final month, which Kyiv denies. Ukraine stated earlier its military had retaken two settlements within the northern Kharkiv area and pushed Russian troops again in Kupiansk – a strategically essential metropolis and a key railway hub.
