On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Actual Time,” host Invoice Maher stated that whereas President Donald Trump has been overly pleasant to Vladimir Putin up to now, it’s a “zombie lie” that he’s “nonetheless backing Putin, as a result of, to start with, he bombed Iran, that was a Putin ally, he didn’t get out of NATO, he mended fences with NATO, and he put sanctions again on Russia.”
Maher started by saying, “I don’t suppose he was precisely a Russian agent, however Russiagate was not utterly made up. … It’s on tape, he’s asking the Russians for assistance on tape, … they launched these emails that day that they hacked, he stated, might you please hack some shit, they did it and launched it that day to assist him. So, don’t inform me there’s no smoke.”
