Canadian AI startup Cohere is taking up Germany-based Aleph Alpha with help from Schwarz Group (dad or mum firm of grocery chain Lidl). With the blessing of their governments, the businesses intend to supply a sovereign different to enterprises in an AI panorama dominated by American gamers.
