Greater than 1,600 years after its disappearance, large stones from the Lighthouse of Alexandria are being recovered from the Mediterranean seabed. Archaeologists have introduced up large stone blocks tied to one of many seven wonders of the traditional world.
Within the waters off Alexandria, a submerged web site recognized for many years is now yielding a few of its most hanging parts. The PHAROS challenge studies that 22 monumental stone blocks linked to the lighthouse have been lifted from the seabed after years of underwater exploration.
