After a robust two-game preseason stretch with the Chicago Sky, by which she averaged 12.5 factors and 4.5 rebounds, second-year guard Hailey Van Lith was formally waived on Monday afternoon forward of the WNBA season.
The Sky open their season on Saturday towards the Portland Fireplace, and roughly an hour after parting methods with Van Lith — a transfer largely tied to stylistic and schematic preferences from head coach Tyler Marsh — Chicago made a direct roster addition.
