In an interview with FRANCE 24, Mike Penrose, a veteran humanitarian employee and particular adviser to the federal government of Ukraine on the “Meals from Ukraine” humanitarian programme, defined that this initiative “will increase the worth of the help that is being distributed” in an “period of diminishing quantities of cash”. He additionally emphasised that the programme “works equally effectively in Africa”, following the launch of a regional meals distribution hub in Ghana’s capital Accra.
