President Donald Trump introduced that the U.S. Navy has seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship within the Gulf of Oman.

Trump stated on Reality Social on Sunday that the 900-foot-long ship tried to run a blockade and ignored warnings to cease. He added that america responded by placing the vessel’s engine room.

The ship is now in U.S. custody and has a protracted historical past of sanctions violations.

In a separate publish, the president slammed Iran for firing on European ships within the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, saying the U.S. is providing a good deal he hopes they take.
