“Retirement.” A phrase I can hardly spell anymore, it appears so summary and inconceivable – like a science-fiction idea from a tattered previous novel. Within the traditional movie Blade Runner, “retirement” is the time period used to explain the brutal ritual of future cops executing rogue androids referred to as replicants (which auto-correct simply tried to show into “Republicans” in opposition to my will, although perhaps Google Docs has a Freudian slip operate now).
