In France, President Emmanuel Macron attended the ultimate part of the “Orion 26” navy workouts on Thursday, a large-scale fight simulation involving hundreds of troops from France and a number of other European nations. The drills, which started in February, spotlight a rising deal with navy readiness throughout Europe amid Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, as Monte Francis reviews.
